Lent
Christ Church has worship services and other events throughout the season of Lent. This is a time when Christians are invited "to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God's holy Word" (BCP, p. 265).
Traditionally, the forty days preceding Easter are a time of preparation by for baptism, as well as a time for those separated from the church to be restored to the Christian assembly. If you would like to be baptized at Easter, please notify Father Timothy Carr for preparation for this event. If you wish to seek membership in Christ Church, please call the office and let our administrator know to ask for your transfer of membership from your current home parish.
