The Book Club

Book Talk meets the second Monday in January, March, May, July, September, and November at 1:00 pm in the Parish House for informal discussion of religious literature and poetry. The people who attend this reading and discussion group select the books to be read.

The Fellowship Committee

The Supper Club is held the 2nd Saturday of each month, September through June except during Lent, at the home of parishioners. Everyone brings a dish to share that will feed approximately 8 people and $1.00 to cover paper goods, etc. The gatherings begin at 7:00 pm and usually end by 10:00 pm. Parishioners volunteer to host the dinners. The location and contact information is listed in the Sunday Bulletin the week prior to the Supper. The December gathering is the annual Adult Christmas Dinner, held in the Murdock Room at the Church.

Each Sunday, the Coffee Hour Guild provides refreshments in the church dining room between the 9:00 am and the 11:00 am services. It is a time for food, fun, and fellowship. Teams of volunteers set up, serve, and clean up one Sunday a month, while others provide home-baked treats once a month. The guild relies on donations to purchase the food, along with the generosity of these wonderful coffee hour "angels." Additionally, some provisions are funded by the Fellowship and Women of Christ Church budgets. We are always in need of bakers, and would welcome 2 or 3 more for every Sunday.

Dine and Deal

Is a parish Bridge group that meets on the third Monday of each month, September through June, has a catered dinner followed by two or three friendly games of cards. In an informal setting, Dine and Deal offers a great chance to meet new people, talk, and converse. Dine and Deal welcomes new members and one does not have to have a partner.
