The Vestry is the body responsible for setting goals and priorities for the parish, for developing the yearly budget, and for overall coordination and oversight of parish programs. The Vestry is chaired by the Rector. Its members, who are elected by the parish, include the two Wardens and nine vestry persons.

Stewardship Statement

As your Vestry and Clergy, we are called to be stewards, entrusted with the wise management of the diverse resources of the Parish. This statement affirms our shared belief in our common life to which we all are called.

We believe in the power and love of God, that Jesus Christ is the center of our community, and that the Holy Spirit guides us to new challenges and opportunities.

We believe that when God blesses us with abundant gifts, revealed to us in different ways, we all should share in that abundance.

We believe that God asks us to come together in community to honor Him, and to share our blessings in worship, fellowship, education and outreach.

We, the Vestry and Clergy of Christ Episcopal Church, commit:

To honor God by generously supporting, through proportional giving, the work of our Church, and
To be faithful stewards in the use of our Parish's resources.

We invite all persons in our Parish community:

To share with us in a spirit of celebration
To be one with us in our commitment to the Lord, and
To work, pray, and give with us in our shared adventure of faith.
