To Our Newcomers
Welcome
all visitors and newcomers. Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in the
Washington Diocese, is the mother church of Prince George's Parish. It has a
rich history and is located in the center of Rockville in an historic area
(see Directions for location).
Please stop by the Newcomers' Table in the
oratory after the 9:00 am service and sign the guest book and also pick up a
tote bag with information about Christ Episcopal Church and its ministries.
The guest book is in the narthex following the 7:45 am and 11:00 am
services. Or you can let us know who you are by calling the church
office at 301-762-2191.
The
Newcomer's Coffee is held
periodically to welcome newcomers to Christ Church and provide a specific venue
for you to meet members of the Congregation.
The
Covenant Class is specifically designed to assist new church members
and occurs twice a year:

make yourselves known to us so that we may serve you. The Site

All newcomers are also invited to wear a name tag. Please email Judith
Schneider
(jschneider@cecrockville.org)
if you wish to have a name tag prepared. Your new name tag with a Celtic cross
identifying you as a newcomer will be placed in the Narthex for you on the
next Sunday. By the way, we encourage all of our members to wear name tags so
you'll get to know them as well.
